[Eng.] World Anti-Communist League (WACL). An alliance of anticommunist organizations based in over 60 countries, founded in 1966 in Taipei, Taiwan. One of its founding members was the Ukrainian Liberation Front; the Ukrainian Youth Association (SUM) was a member from 1968. The other members include the Anti-Bolshevik Bloc of Nations (ABN), the Asian Pacific Anti-Communist League, the European Freedom Council, and the American Council for World Freedoms. Slava Stetsko was a permanent delegate of the ABN to WACL. In 1990, the organisation changed its name to World League for Freedom and Democracy. The league holds annual conferences. Its purpose has been to remind the democratic countries of the threat of communism and to struggle for the liberation of nations living under communist subjugation. Одним із засновників був Український Визвольний Фронт; Спілка української молоді (СУМ) була членом з 1968 року. Серед інших членів — Антибольшевицький Блок Народів (АБН), Азійсько-Тихоокеанська Антикомуністична Ліга, Європейська Рада Свободи та Американська Рада Світових Свобод. Слава Стецько була постійним делегатом АБН до WACL. У 1990 році організація змінила назву на Всесвітню Лігу за Свободу та Демократію. Ліга проводить щорічні конференції.
